The 2023 field got to grips with Ducati’s new electric beast for the first time at a damp Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto
The FIM Enel MotoE™ World Championship’s new era has officially begun as Day 1 of testing at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto has come to an end, with Luca Salvadori (Prettl Pramac MotoE™) top of the timesheets on a damp Monday in Andalucia.
The MotoE™ riders and teams are in Jerez for three days as the electric class enters an enthralling new era in 2023, as Ducati embark on life as MotoE™’s sole manufacturer with their stunning new V21L.
The top five on the opening day included second quickest Matteo Ferrari (Felo Gresini MotoE™), Kevin Manfredi (Ongetta SIC58 Squadracorse), Jordi Torres (Openbank Aspar Team) and Randy Krummenacher (Dynavolt Intact GP MotoE™).
You’ll be able to keep up with all the latest from the Jerez Test right here on motogp.com throughout the three days.
