Tension. It’s just one word that perfectly describes what MotoGP™ is all about, and throughout a weekend, tensions are high on several occasions. Below are some of the best shots that portray tension at some of the different Grands Prix this season.

Qatar GP (above): The beginning of a new season is moments away. Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) sits on pole position dreaming of making a perfect start to the year. It wasn’t to be.

Indonesian GP: Rain came to play just before the start of the MotoGP™ race as Ducati Corse General Manager Gigi Dall’Igna looks on.


Argentina GP: Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac Racing) and eventual winner Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) get into their respective zones on the grid.

GP of The Americas: The returning Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) focuses on the battle ahead.

French GP: All eyes were on a World Champion home hero: Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™). The Frenchman heads over to his YZR-M1 ahead of trying to qualify on pole position.

British GP: Eyes of The Beast. Gresini’s Enea Bastianini looks on pensively before heading out in Q1 at Silverstone.

Austrian GP: Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) wanders back to his bike on the starting grid at the Red Bull Ring, deep in thought.


Indonesian GP: Repsol Honda boss Alberto Puig pensively watches from the box, while Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) gets his final preparations done before heading out on his GP22.
