Savadori set for Sepang shakedown test with Aprilia
Italian will ride the RS-GP 19 in Malaysia before Aleix Espargaro and Smith test the 2020 model at the Official Test
Former European Superstock Champion and 125, WorldSBK and FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup rider Lorenzo Savadori will test the 2019 Aprilia Racing Team Gresini RS-GP at the Sepang shakedown test on the 2-4 February.
It won’t be the first time Savadori has jumped aboard an Aprilia MotoGP™ machine, the Italian factory handing the then-Aprilia WorldSBK rider a test at Misano in 2017. Savadori will complete the three-day shakedown before official test rider Bradley Smith and Aleix Espargaro emerge on the eagerly anticipated RS-GP 20 at the Official Sepang Test on 7-9 February.
