The nine-time World Champion will be in the paddock at #TheDecider as VR46 Academy star Bagnaia aims for title glory
With VR46 Academy star Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) having the chance to claim his maiden MotoGP™ world title at the upcoming Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana, nine-time World Champion Valentino Rossi will attend #TheDecider at Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
12 months ago, the world watched on as we saw the famous number 46 close the curtain on his glistening Grand Prix career. It was the end of an era. This time around in 2022 though, we could be seeing the fruits of Rossi’s labour as Pecco eyes a second World Championship title, potentially becoming the first VR46 Academy rider to win one in the premier class. Moreover, Pecco is aiming to be the first Italian to win the MotoGP™ title since Rossi back in 2009.
Of course, Rossi will also be checking in with his brother Luca Marini and the Mooney VR46 Racing Team squad as they hope to end their successful maiden MotoGP™ voyage on a high, with Marco Bezzecchi already confirmed as the 2022 Rookie of the Year.
